Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Painter II to apply paint and coatings to company products using electrostatic/air assist guns and related devices. The role requires working across the paint process to ensure quality finishes on vehicles and assemblies.

Responsibilities include priming, painting, and touchups, equipment maintenance, color changes, and adherence to safety and 6S standards. Experience in manufacturing or automotive painting and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Automotive painting.
• Ability to pass the Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) process.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with spray equipment and brushes.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, adjust and reassemble painting equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area following 6S standards and safety rules.
• Assist in training new team members on painting processes and equipment.
