Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a Painter II to apply paint and coatings on company products, using electrostatic/air assist guns and automotive-type devices, including military spec paints. The role covers all areas of the paint process with emphasis on quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing/industrial/auto painting and can pass the Pulmonary Function Test. This is a hands-on, team-focused position with overtime and shift rotation common in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Automotive painting.
• Ability to pass the PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) process.

Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes; mix paints for color and viscosity.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble painting equipment for proper operation.
• Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.
• Maintain safety and 6S standards; ensure quality and test assembled models.
• Inspect parts for quality and verify components meet specifications.
• Support training of new team members on processes and equipment functions.
