Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies is hiring a senior Process Engineering leader for our Indiana paint operations. You will oversee safe, cost-effective production, drive KPI-driven performance, and partner with engineering, maintenance, quality, and materials teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a minimum ten years in process engineering with paint experience and at least five years managing paint engineers or techs in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of experience in process engineering, preferably paint processes.
• Five years of experience managing paint engineers or paint techs in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead a culture of safety across operations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in paint processes.
• Lead and develop paint engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate across shifts to promote collaboration.
• Conduct root cause analyses for paint process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to reduce paint defects and improve quality.
