Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Lead Customer Service Representative to oversee the full order lifecycle, from entry to completion, while supporting customers and coordinating with the sales team.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in order-driven customer service, strong Excel and data accuracy, and the initiative to lead a busy, fast-paced operation. This role is based in the United States and offers a stable, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service experience in an order-driven environment.
• Hands-on order entry experience from placement to completion.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas and reports.
• Ability to learn proprietary ordering and business systems quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, phone and email.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to multitask, shift priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders from entry through completion with accuracy.
• Process orders via phone, email, fax, and online channels to meet deadlines.
• Handle 40–50 inbound calls per day from customers and sales reps.
• Answer questions, investigate order issues, provide clear solutions.
• Partner with sales, build internal relationships, support upsells.
• Coordinate delivery timelines and order updates with internal teams.
• Research pricing discrepancies and assist with invoicing issues.
• Maintain high accuracy and customer service under pressure.
• Serve as a dependable resource for the team and lead by example.
