Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks an Oracle Solution Architect to provide advisory and implementation services within the Transformation Practice. You’ll help clients address business needs with a focus on Oracle Applications and cloud solutions.

You’ll work with a dedicated Transformation team, leading design, training, and deployment while traveling up to 40% as needed. This role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of consulting experience servicing cross-industry clients.
• Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle.
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics, and reports.
• Experience with application integration & back-end data connectivity applications.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership skills; capable of leading meetings and writing technical documents.
• Able to map current and future state processes to business objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design, and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides.
• Conduct training classes for end users.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Define business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, and support procedures.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
