Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Oracle Director to lead advisory and implementation services for the Transformation Practice. You will work with a team to plan, design, build, and deploy Oracle solutions across client organizations.

You will document requirements, drive design decisions, train end users, and ensure successful go-lives while achieving revenue targets and managing project teams and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus
• 10+ years of related work experience in a national cross-industry consulting practice
• Minimum of 10 full life cycle implementations of Oracle
• Industry recognized professional certification required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with application integration & back-end data connectivity
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications; knowledge of Oracle Cloud

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases
• Document business requirements, system design, and transformational goals
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
• Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption
• Conduct training classes for deployment readiness
• Provide post-production support and manage client projects
• Lead teams in requirements, design, process mapping, prototyping, testing
• Identify opportunities to improve usability and profitability of information architecture
• Meet or exceed revenue generation through sales and delivery activities
• Travel up to 40% as needed
