Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or compact multi-state license)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support clinical teams
• Strong knowledge of perioperative practices, patient safety standards, and surgical workflows

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical leader and resource for OR staff across multiple surgical specialties
• Assist with daily staffing assignments, patient flow, and case coordination to support efficient OR operations
• Provide direct patient care as needed in the circulating role
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and nurse leaders to ensure seamless care
• Support onboarding, training, mentoring, and competency development of new team members
• Promote compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices
• Assist leadership with quality improvement initiatives, performance monitoring, and process enhancements
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
• Participate in departmental projects and staff development activities
