Job summary

SCA Health in Florida is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care. You will assess patient status, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative services.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, has OR experience or similar, holds an active Florida nursing license, and is prepared to complete BLS, ACLS, and PALS within the stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS completed within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS completed within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification (if pediatric care is included) within 90 days of employment.
• Perioperative nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
