Job summary

PACM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Last Mile Delivery and Fleet Logistics at our Middleborough, MA terminal.

You will own daily terminal operations, driver management, and fleet performance, while remaining qualified as a FedEx driver to cover routes as needed. You will lead a hands-on team, drive safety and efficiency, and ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance while coordinating maintenance and route coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in P&D or fleet logistics.
• Proven track record of leading driver teams and improving retention.
• Familiarity with routing and driver safety software (Ground Cloud, VEDR, handheld scanners).
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure and willingness to roll up sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal operations, dispatch, route optimization and driver check-ins.
• Maintain qualification as a FedEx driver to support routes and contingencies.
• Serve as primary liaison with FedEx Station Management and Sort Managers.
• Supervise and coach delivery drivers; monitor safety and address bottlenecks.
• Enforce FMCSA/DOT regulations and monitor safety metrics; uphold a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate maintenance and staging for a fleet of step vans and box trucks.
