Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year supervisory experience or one year as a GFL Environmental Lead Driver required.

Responsibilities

• Select, supervise and train employees in their positions to ensure safe, professional and efficient service.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train and discipline personnel.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems as they arise.
• Ensure proper completion of paperwork for drivers including truck reports, driver logs and vehicle inspections daily.
• Ensure proper scheduling of drivers and toter/helpers.
• Monitor customer satisfaction by ensuring daily completion of routes and pickup of containers; resolve customer complaints.
• Direct collection and disposal services to best utilize personnel and equipment.
• Establish and review productivity standards at each phase of the operation.
• Be familiar with and ensure compliance with CDL driver regulations.
• Enter appropriate productivity data into operating system daily.
• Maintain inventory of supplies with authorization from Facility/General Manager.
