Job summary

Liberty Energy Services, LLC in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Operations Accounting leader to support month-end close, analyze job costs and margins, and coordinate work across Operations Accounting, field operations, Supply Chain, AR, ERP, and Finance.

Responsibilities include guiding a team of Operations Accounting professionals, providing training and workflow guidance, improving data accuracy, assisting audits, and driving process improvements with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required, Master’s Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and adjustment of job, basin, and company costs and margins, including complex or high-risk exceptions.
• Review job costing, inventory costing, revenue, and margin activity for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform month-end inventory reconciliations, account analyses, accrual support, and related close activities.
• Investigate unprocessed costs, unbilled items, interface errors, and other exceptions; document findings and coordinate resolution.
• Serve as a technical resource for Operations Accounting analysts and provide day-to-day guidance and training.
• Collaborate with ERP, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Supply Chain, and operations teams to improve data flow and financial accuracy.
• Support internal and external audit requests with clear documentation and transaction support.
• Directly manage a team of Operations Accounting professionals, including performance management and workload prioritization.
