Job summary

Liberty Energy in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Operations Accounting professional to drive complex cost analysis and ensure accurate month-end close and reporting. You will coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, AR, ERP, and Finance, guiding workflows and mentoring staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 3+ years in inventory and job-cost accounting, plus strong Excel and ERP skills. Industry experience in Oilfield Services is a plus; evening or weekend work may be

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Three+ years of inventory and job-cost accounting experience.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in Oilfield Services or related industries is a plus.
• Strong with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads analysis and adjustment of job, basin, and company costs and margins, including complex or high-risk exceptions.
• Reviews job costing, inventory costing, revenue, and margin activity for accuracy and proper project treatment.
• Performs month-end inventory reconciliations, account analyses, accrual support, and related close activities.
• Investigates unprocessed costs, unbilled items, interface errors, and coordinates resolution with teams.
• Serves as a technical resource for Operations Accounting analysts and provides workflow guidance and training.
• Collaborates with ERP, AR, Finance, Supply Chain, and operations teams to improve data flow and accuracy.
