Job summary

PROENERGY in Houston/Sedalia seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Manager - Operations to oversee monthly close, inventory and project costing, and financial reporting across manufacturing and services. You will lead a team, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with project managers and operations leaders to drive cost control and accurate management reporting.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in accounting with 5+ years in a managerial role, strong ERP experience, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience; 5+ years in management.
• Experience in manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Advanced GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience preparing financial reports for senior management.
• Fluency in English; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory movements and cost reporting; analyze variances.
• Prepare internal financial reports and KPI analyses for management.
• Support external audits and ERP implementation initiatives.
• Coach and develop Operations accounting staff; collaborate with project managers.
