Job summary

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting Operations to own end-to-end operational accounting, including close, cost accounting, revenue, COGS, inventory, and treasury. This role partners across Finance, Systems, and business teams to connect operational decisions with financial impact.

The ideal candidate will lead process design and systems administration, driving improvements in close cadence, controls, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience with close ownership.
• 4+ years of leading the close and complex reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own operational accounting across cost accounting, revenue, COGS, inventory, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, AR, AP, and the general ledger, ensuring GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Lead accounting for project and inventory costs, including WIP and COGS recognition.
• Oversee revenue recognition, including journal entries, reconciliations, and process improvements.
• Lead Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate processing and vendor controls.
