Job summary

AVI‑SPL is seeking an Event Production Location Lead – Production Manager to direct the onsite production and operations team for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotech client. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and execution across in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, ensuring readiness and high-quality service.

The role requires extensive live production experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex schedules and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in live event production, event coordination, broadcast operations, audio/visual production, streaming support, or similar production environments.
• 3+ years leading, mentoring, and developing production teams for onsite, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Strong understanding of live event systems, broadcast workflows, and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, streaming tech, and related production workflows.
• Ability to communicate operational challenges and maintain customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, coordination, scheduling, and execution of onsite, hybrid, and virtual productions.
• Coordinate production support requirements with client Live Event team and stakeholders.
• Manage AVI‑SPL production personnel and workflows within the location.
• Provide production coordination, escalation support, and leadership for events and meetings.
• Fill production crew positions and provide on-site operational support as needed.
• Lead onboarding, training, and performance reviews to ensure service quality.
