Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to direct on-site workflow, lead the site team and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on large projects in Virginia. You will coordinate with the project manager on schedules and installation methods, and maintain thorough daily documentation.

The role requires 8–10 years in commercial construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with ProCore, Adobe, and MS Office. Travel and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience a plus.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve results.
• ProCore and sector software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site workflow in line with project schedule and safety/quality standards.
• Lead site team and subcontractors, maintain daily logs and punch list.
• Collaborate with project manager on schedule, sequencing, and installation methods.
• Maintain safety program for site personnel and subcontractors and conduct safety inspections.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
