Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Attack & Penetration Testing to lead offensive security engagements for client resilience. You’ll guide teams across penetration testing, red team, and purple team activities, delivering actionable reports to technical and executive audiences.

You will mentor junior analysts, drive collaboration across diverse, geographically dispersed teams, and stay current with evolving threats and technologies while representing EY at industry groups and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related with 6+ years of experience; Master’s with 3–4+ years in penetration testing.
• Experience managing and executing penetration testing projects.
• Experience with manual attack and penetration testing.
• Experience in leading Red Team or application penetration testing programs.
• Scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl, etc).
• Up-to-date with latest exploits and security trends.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
• Driver’s license valid in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in enterprise environments.
• Lead penetration testing, red team, and purple team exercises using industry frameworks.
• Deliver clear, concise client reports and executive summaries.
• Mentor analysts and foster collaborative, trust-based culture.
• Stay current with cyber threat trends and represent EY at industry events.
• Coordinate with security and business teams to ensure value and delivery.
