Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Attack & Penetration Testing to lead offensive security engagements across enterprise environments. You will head penetration testing, red team, and purple team activities, guiding teams and delivering clear reports to clients and executives.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to travel up to 50% to meet client needs across the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field with 6+ years of experience; or Master’s with 3-4+ years in penetration testing.
• Experience managing and executing penetration testing projects end-to-end.
• Experience with manual attack and penetration testing across networks, web apps, wireless, and Red/Blue team engagements.
• Experience leading a team of testers and delivering client reports under deadlines.
• Scripting or programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl, etc).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated offensive security operations to enhance client resilience against cyber-attacks.
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in enterprise environments and guide penetration testing exercises.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative, skilled team culture.
• Represent EY in industry groups, conferences, and events while staying current on threats and trends.
