Job summary

PleasantonNorth in Pleasanton, TX is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the health-care team.

You will supervise COTA and aides, ensure timely documentation, provide in-services, and help advance the facility's rehabilitation program while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; masters/doctorate preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise COTA and aides in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete timely documentation per policies and payer requirements.
• Provide in-services and training for facility staff.
