Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) to lead and administer the OT department in a skilled care setting. The role focuses on evaluating treatment plans, directing staff, and ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with physician orders.

The OT will supervise therapists and aides, maintain high-quality documentation, and collaborate with physicians and other departments to improve patient outcomes while adhering to safety

Formación

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR).
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Directs the Occupational Therapy Department certified staff, including assistants, aides, and students.
• Observes and evaluates treatment outcomes; recommends changes to physician as needed.
• Performs appropriate patient assessments and reassessments per policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of occupational therapy modalities.
• Treats patients and families with respect, addressing psychosocial needs.
• Manages and operates equipment safely; maintains department cleanliness and safety.
• Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves them in the care plan.
• Communicates clearly with physicians, staff, and administrative team.
• Coordinates and directs patient care to meet needs and policies.
• Maintains records for personnel and department operations.
• Demonstrates flexibility and ability to function under stress, with cross-department collaboration.
• Provides input on budgeting and ensures charges are accurate and timely.
