Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Austin, TX, seeks a Head Programmer/CNC Programmer with 5+ years of Siemens NX CAM experience to lead the CAD-to-CAM team and create the programming standard for automated 5-axis cells.

You will personally program complex aerospace and defense parts, train other programmers, define processes, and develop probing stacks for lights‑out production; relocation is provided and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Siemens NX CAM and CNC programming.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and aerospace/defense parts.
• US citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliant).

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD-to-CAM team and establish programming standards for automated 5-axis cells.
• Program complex aerospace/defense parts personally.
• Train programmers, define processes, and build probing stacks for lights-out production.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineer and software engineers on CAM workflows.
