Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Head Programmer/CNC Programmer with 5+ years of experience in Siemens NX CAM and 5-axis programming. You will lead the CAD-to-CAM team, define the programming standard from scratch, and hands-on program aerospace parts (titanium, Inconel, aluminum).

You'll collaborate with the Automation Engineer and software team to optimize tooling, probing stacks, and post-processor configuration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Siemens NX CAM and 5-axis CNC programming.
• Experience as NX applications engineer at a reseller, machine tool builder, or aerospace shop.
• Lead CAD-to-CAM team and define programming standards from scratch.
• Experience with post processors in NX Post Builder or Post Configurator.
• US citizen or lawful permanent resident and able to work for any US employer.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD-to-CAM team and build the programming standard from scratch.
• Program complex aerospace parts and train programmers.
• Define processes and build probing stacks for lights-out production.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineer and software engineers to automate CAM workflows.
