Option Care Health is hiring a Nursing Supervisor in Orlando to oversee patient care under a physician’s plan. The role combines direct care (20-40%) with supervision of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with Medicare home health standards and company policies.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with 1 year of supervisory experience or 3 years of relevant nursing work, CPR certified, and willing to travel up to 50% (within state). BSN preferred and leadership skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN license in current state of practice with 1 year of nursing supervisory/charge experience, or 3 years of relevant nursing experience with progression.
• CPR certification required; member of a state or national professional organization.
• Access to reliable transportation to visit patients; valid driver's license and proof of insurance if using personal vehicle.
• Experience with local, state, federal rules and OSHA requirements; strong customer service and team development skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for daily documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under a physician’s plan of care and Option Care Health policies.
• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate quality and effectiveness of patient care; oversee plans of care.
• Act as Administrator or Director of Nursing when needed; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate operations, manage staffing, and monitor medical supply usage and financial data.
• Participate in continuing education, staff development, and on-call responsibilities.
• Support sales with knowledge of services and demonstrate care excellence.
