Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Nuclear Surety onsite in Richardson, TX to drive end-to-end systems engineering for NC2 programs while upholding strict nuclear surety and DoD requirements.

You will collaborate with IPTs, develop safety and certification documents (NSARs/NSMPs), and lead technical proposals, estimates, and risk reviews to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship required from day 1.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with IPTs and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support development of nuclear surety products and NSARs/NSMPs.
• Coordinate engineering activities with IPTs to meet certification requirements.
• Lead technical proposal efforts and support cost/schedule/risk reporting.
