Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Nuclear Surety (Onsite) in Richardson, TX. You will contribute across the full systems engineering lifecycle for NC2 programs, ensuring rigorous nuclear surety standards and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
The role emphasizes requirements development, lifecycle management, and working closely with IPTs to meet certification requirements while supporting proposals and risk assessments. Must have DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship.
At Collins Aerospace, we are advancing Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) technologies in support of strategic nuclear deterrence missions across multiple programs. You will contribute to systems engineering, requirements development, and nuclear surety activities to shape the next generation of NC2-focused systems. As a Nuclear Surety Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your expertise across the full systems engineering lifecycle—from pursuit and order capture through system design, requirement development and allocation, integration, verification, and qualification. You’ll work closely with systems, software, and hardware engineers, as well as project and program leadership to ensure rigorous engineering and nuclear surety standards are met throughout all phases of development.

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 per year, depending on experience.
