Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Nuclear Surety onsite to lead systems engineering activities for NC2 focused programs. You will develop requirements, allocate system designs, and ensure rigorous nuclear surety standards across multiple programs.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers, supporting certification, documentation, and cross-team reviews, while contributing to proposal efforts and project planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years.
• Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance required before start.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience with Nuclear Triad operations and strategic deterrence programs.

Responsibilities

• Support development of nuclear surety products and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate with IPTs to review work products and ensure certification requirements are met.
• Lead technical proposal efforts and support cost, schedule, and risk tracking.
