Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to supervise daily modality operations and balance 70 percent patient care with 30 percent supervisory functions.

The role requires a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB, 3 years of technical experience with leadership, and relevant certifications (ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT or NMTCB, BCLS) upon hire.

Qualifications

• Education must be a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• 3 years technical experience required and leadership of personnel.
• AR DMS/ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech or CNMT or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
