Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and cardiac/vascular imaging in a high-volume hospital setting. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT or NMTCB certifications upon hire and BCLS, with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control procedures per manufacturer, state and federal guidelines; participates in advanced imaging as needed.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Education

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
