Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to supervise modality operations, dedicating 70% of time to patient care and 30% to staff leadership. You will ensure accreditation standards are maintained and stay current with imaging technology.

Requires a nuclear medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB, 3 years of technical experience with leadership, and active certification (ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT, NMTCB) plus BCLS.

Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
