Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures, including advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, while adhering to all protocols and quality standards.

Requires a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB, 1 year of experience, and active ARDMS or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), CNMT, or NMTCB registrations with BCLS.

Qualifications

• A Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB is required.
• 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine is required.
• Active licenses/registrations: ARDMS or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), CNMT, NMTCB; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols.
• Performs quality control procedures per manufacturer/state/federal guidelines.
• Demonstrates advanced imaging skills (Cardiac and Vascular) as needed and supports patient care.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Education

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
