Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology Technologist. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures and advanced imaging to support patient care.

Responsibilities include quality control, adherence to protocols, and providing complex technical care to meet diverse patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment at our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech; CNMT; NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology procedures per protocols.
• Conduct quality control procedures per guidelines.
• Handle advanced imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and correlate with anatomy/physiology.
• Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Education

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required
