Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Manager of Production Planning to lead a team responsible for non-sterile compounded production planning. You will translate demand forecasts and inventory policies into a rolling, capacity-aware plan for weeks to a year ahead, driving actions to close gaps through staffing, training, or capital investments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in production/Capacity planning with strong analytics, Excel, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required; APICS/CPIM is a plus.
• Experience building capacity models and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
• Proficient in inventory management concepts with financial and operational implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of production planners and set priorities.
• Own mid- and long-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory policies.
• Define planning horizons, cadence, and publish plan to Production Scheduling.
• Manage finished goods inventory within company guidance and keep click-to-deliver metrics.
• Develop what-if scenarios to identify capacity constraints and sensitivities.
• Document risks from capacity constraints and reasons for revisions when needed.
• Partner with Ops, HR, and Quality to execute approved actions and track outcomes.
• Monitor plan attainment, forecast accuracy, and capacity utilization; drive corrective actions.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to communicate plan status and risks to leadership.
