Job summary

Atos SE is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the NG9-1-1 deployment for Atos Public Safety. The role focuses on securing voice and data networks with Cisco-based infrastructure, SD-WAN, and VXLAN while maintaining high availability across distributed environments.

The candidate will lead network design, implementation, and support activities, coordinating with multiple teams and external MSPs. Excellent English communication and after-hours availability are required.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in network engineering across distributed environments.
Experience implementing security for voice and data networks.
Ability to achieve 99.999% uptime and high availability.
Experience with on-call support after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

Configure Cisco routers, switches, SD-WAN, and VXLAN to predefined standards in a voice environment.
Apply high-level functional voice systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation methodologies on complex problems.
Knowledge of the NG911 topology and associated equipment.
Participate in network planning, engineering, and architecture processes.
Produce and maintain technical and procedural documentation as directed.
Provide 2nd or 3rd level support on incidents and service requests.
Deploy and configure network devices based on designs and standards provided.
Maximize network performance and availability by monitoring performance, troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on optimization.
Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies.
