Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our perioperative team. You will prepare sterile equipment, assist surgeons, maintain aseptic technique, and coordinate instruments, supplies, and implants for neurointerventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and uninterrupted care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required.
• Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA required.
• BLS required.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrub Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs aseptic hand scrub, gowning and gloving.
• Assembles supplies per procedure requirements.
• Prepares sterile instrument tables and assists in draping.
• Assists surgeon with instruments, sutures, and supplies.
• Maintains accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Maintains aseptic technique and reports contamination.
