Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist focused on neurointerventional procedures. You will ensure sterile instrument readiness, assist surgeons, and maintain an organized sterile field to support optimal patient outcomes.

You will actively participate in education, mentorship, and department governance, promoting clinical excellence and efficient procedural flow in a busy perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Maintains and promotes aseptic technique at all times.
• Prepares sterile instrument tables and assembles supplies per procedure.
• Assists surgeons with instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies as needed.
• Mentors and orients new team members; participates in shared governance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles sterile supplies according to procedure requirements.
• Sets up sterile tables and assists in draping the patient area.
• Maintains correct counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Monitors inventory levels and ensures neurointerventional supplies are available.
