Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring engineers. The role emphasizes customer-focused relationships to identify business challenges and craft the best solutions.

You will lead multi-technology projects, collaborate with Practice Leads and Project Managers, and maintain up-to-date industry certifications while promoting best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA or equivalent certifications.
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco/HP/Aruba networking products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS experience and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Lead large projects with Project Managers to meet time and budget goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to engineers to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
• Act as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Communicate project status and timelines to stakeholders daily.
