Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network services for consulting clients. You will mentor engineers, lead multi-technology projects, and collaborate with Practice Leads to deliver high-value solutions. Strong Cisco/HP networking skills and certifications are essential.

The role emphasizes communication, leadership, and delivering world-class customer experiences while maintaining current industry certifications and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least two professional level certifications.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA certifications.
• Experience designing and architecting network solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba switching/routing products.
• IOS/IOS-XR/NX-OS experience and best practices.
• Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3, Multicast, QoS.
• Strong teamwork and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Deliver large projects on time and within budget with PMs and leads.
• Provide leadership to engineers and ensure timely task completion.
• Serve as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates and proactive communication.
