Heartland Business Systems seeks a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring teammates and sharing knowledge. You will build customer relationships, translate business needs into technical specifications, and drive successful solutions across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications/experience
• Two or more professional level certifications (CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA)
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba switches and routing
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS experience and best practices
• Routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; L2/L3 architecture and design; Multicast, QoS
• Strong prioritization skills and teamwork
• Professional attitude and respectful demeanor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures
• Execute projects with Project Managers on time and budget
• Provide leadership and guidance to Engineers for timely task completion
• Lead engineers on multi-technology projects
• Provide daily project updates and proactive communication on timelines and resources
• Foster collaboration between business units to deliver top customer experience
• Demonstrate excellent communication in team and customer meetings
• Contribute to product selection, standards, and sales education on products/services
• Maintain professionalism in a regional and virtual team environment
• Pursue ongoing certifications and skills growth
• Meet annual billable hour goals defined by HBS
