Job summary

Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is seeking a senior leadership role to validate, generate, and implement Network Operations Model changes, ensuring readiness across ERCOT operations applications. You will drive modeling improvements and set guidelines for accurate System Operations cases while resolving complex issues through analysis and collaboration.

The position requires 5+ years in related work with leadership experience; a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is required,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years job related work experience and 1 year in a leadership role preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Required).
• NERC Certification as a Reliability Coordinator is preferred

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, and performance-manage staff.
• Interact with direct reports and functional peer groups.
• Provide supervision to professional and support staff.
• Advise department and help meet schedules and resolve problems.
• Allocate time for department tasks and budgeting input.
• Lead and represent ERCOT in technical committees and subcommittees.
• Mentor Engineering Development Program participants and ensure competency in Network Modeling process.
