Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring engineers. You will build customer-focused solutions and lead multi-technology projects to successful outcomes.

In this role you will collaborate with Practice Leads, PMs, and sales teams to define specifications, drive best practices, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least two or more Professional level certifications.
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices.
• Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS.
• Maintain an outcome focused mindset.
• Have strong prioritization skills.
• Always be a team player.
• Carry a professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Lead large projects on time and on budget with PMs and Leads.
• Provide leadership and guide engineers to ensure timely completion.
• Serve as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates to PMs and stakeholders.
• Foster cross-unit collaboration to deliver a world-class client experience.
• Lead customer meetings with strong communication and clarity.
• Educate sales teams on products and services to enable selling.
• Work across regional and virtual practices with professionalism.
• Grow skills per engineering matrix through certifications and project experience.
• Meet annual billable hour goals defined by HBS.
