Job summary

Heartland Technology Group seeks a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network solutions for clients while mentoring others. You will build customer-focused relationships to identify challenges and draft specifications to reach optimal solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in a technical field, multiple professional certifications, and strong leadership, with experience in Cisco/HP/Aruba environments and routing protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least two or more Professional level certifications.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
• Experience designing and architecting network based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices.
• Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate on large projects with Project Managers and Practice Leads.
• Provide leadership and direct Engineers to ensure timely task completion.
• Act as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates to the Project Management Team.
