Pediatrix Medical Group in Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform screenings on-site at hospital locations. You will work in a fast-paced maternity setting, coordinating with hospital teams to ensure timely results and high-quality care.

You will receive on-the-job training and annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology, helping advance early detection and parental education. This role emphasizes teamwork with Site Supervisors and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or obtained on offer.
• Willing to work weekends and national holidays.
• Occasional travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and collect data.
• Provide parent education and ensure documentation.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisor and hospital staff.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies.
• Maintain equipment readiness and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead resource for assigned hospital locations.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians.
• Report missed or refer babies to Site Supervisor.
• Comply with PPE, vaccinations, and compliance modules.
