Job summary

The LEMOINE Company, LLC is seeking a Municipal Superintendent to lead field execution on public infrastructure and civil sitework in Louisiana. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate crews and utilities, and ensure work complies with plans, specs, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction leadership, strong knowledge of wastewater systems and utilities, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field; equivalent municipal construction experience considered.
• 5+ years leading field operations on municipal or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment, sewer systems, drainage, and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors and construction crews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and safety.
• Review drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure plan conformance.
• Supervise sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water utilities, and related structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations and site procedures.
• Monitor schedules and address field challenges to meet timelines and quality.
• Maintain daily reports on manpower, equipment usage, and site progress.
• Coordinate inspections, tie-ins, testing, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure work meets project specs, environmental reg. and client expectations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, trades, municipalities, and clients.
