Job summary

LEMOINE, a leader in infrastructure, is seeking a Municipal Superintendent to direct field execution on public works projects across Louisiana. You will oversee underground utilities, drainage, roadwork, and site development, ensuring safety, schedule, budget adherence, and compliance with project specs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction experience, strong leadership, and ability to read civil drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of municipal or heavy civil construction experience with field operations leadership.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, sewer systems, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs, utility plans, and schedules.
• Experience managing subcontractors, equipment, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for municipal infrastructure projects including wastewater plants and sewer systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain productivity and safety.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work meets plans and standards.
• Supervise installation of sanitary sewer, drainage, water utilities, and concrete structures.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations and site safety procedures.
• Monitor project schedules and address field challenges to maintain timelines.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on manpower, equipment usage, and site progress.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with municipalities, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure work meets environmental regulations and client expectations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams and trade partners.
