Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking an HR & Payroll Operations Specialist to own payroll, employment tax, unemployment, garnishments, and employee lifecycle administration for a multistate workforce. Based at corporate headquarters, you will be the day-to-day operator behind every paycheck, tax filing, and personnel transaction.

This role partners with Finance, Operations, and site leadership as the company expands into new states and remains detail-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and deadline-driven performance.
• Experience handling end-to-end payroll across multiple states.
• Familiarity with I-9, E-Verify, and tax filings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for hourly, salaried, tipped, and bonus pay.
• Reconcile timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies before runs.
• Manage unemployment claims, garnishments, and wage orders across states.
• Administer multi-state HR compliance, reporting, and filings.
• Oversee onboarding and terminations, including I-9, benefits, and offboarding.
• Respond to verifications and maintain audit-ready records.
