Southwest Electrical Contracting Services, LLC is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Manager to oversee payroll, benefits, compliance, and day-to-day HR functions. The role blends payroll expertise with people-focused leadership to support employees and partner with leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive HR/payroll experience, strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR/payroll experience
• Experience leading full-cycle payroll
• Hands-on multi-state payroll and tax filings
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle payroll processing, bonuses, deductions, and multi-state tax filings.
• Reconcile payroll with general ledger and support month-end/year-end closes.
• Administer benefits programs and retirement plans; manage open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA and wage-and-hour laws.
• Lead, develop, and mentor HR/payroll team; drive process improvements.
