Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity of multifamily communities. You will lead maintenance staff, manage service requests, and ensure safety, budgeting, and quality standards are met on-site.

The role requires 3+ years of multifamily maintenance, solid leadership, and proficiency in OneSite/Yardi. Weekend on-call and 40-hour weeks are standard; you’ll train teams and coordinate with the property manager to maintain resident

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or a related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and the Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, and participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools; ensure tools are in excellent working condition.
• Monitor hazardous conditions and ensure safety across the property, including gates, lighting, and stairs.
• Identify and label utility cut-offs and sewer cleanouts; maintain property maps.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a safety-first culture.
• Approve and delegate service requests; oversee completion with hands-on support.
• Maintain knowledge of the property maintenance budget and obtain approvals for major expenses.
