Job summary

SunRidge Management Group in Texas is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a full‑time, on‑site role at a multifamily community. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure a clean, safe living environment, and implement preventative maintenance to protect asset value.

You will train crews, manage safety, oversee work orders within 24 hours when possible, coordinate with the property manager and vendors, and uphold Fair Housing and lease compliance while delivering excellent resident

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient with property management software (OneSite/Yardi) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• CPO and HVAC certifications required.
• 40 hours per week; weekend availability; rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Monitor hazards and secure property areas.
• Label utility cut-offs and maintain maps.
• Train and mentor staff; uphold safety standards.
• Approve service requests and manage budgets.
• Schedule 24/7 on-call rotations with the manager.
