Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a full‑time, on‑site role at a multifamily community. You will uphold safety, mentor maintenance staff, and coordinate with the property manager to ensure timely service requests and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, CPO & HVAC certs, and proficiency with OneSite/Yardi. Weekend on-call availability and a rotating schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or a related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage staff and daily operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and the Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (such as OneSite and/or Yardi) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CPO and HVAC certifications are required.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools; ensure tools are in excellent working condition.
• Monitor and correct hazardous conditions across the property (gates, lighting, stairs, etc.).
• Identify and label utility cut-offs and sewer cleanouts; maintain property maps.
• Keep storage areas clean and secure; perform daily cleanup of work areas and grounds.
