Job summary

CAF Management, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Fort Worth, TX to take ownership of maintenance at apartment communities. You will lead repairs, preventive maintenance, and service requests while guiding a maintenance team.

The role offers growth into leadership and a strong commission-based pay structure. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on multifamily maintenance experience, and can manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Availability to work Saturdays and participate in on-call rotation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform daily maintenance operations including service requests, unit turns, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Ensure the property meets safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal standards.
• Order and manage parts and supply inventory within budget.
• Train and support Assistant Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate vendor work and supervise contracted repairs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and handle emergency maintenance situations.
• Communicate with the Property Manager to align maintenance efforts with community goals.
